How can the CR 486 IMA affect land development in my community?

How the CR 486 IMA is implemented will be determined through the planning process. One option for consideration is an overlay to the Future Land Use categories and associated land use districts within a specific geographic area around the CR 486 / Suncoast Parkway interchange. Based on input gathered during this study, the IMA will establish appropriate land uses within the IMA boundary, as well as development standards for these land uses and design standards for landscaping and signs.

  • Where can I see the proposed development of the interchange area? I see a poster with different conceptual drawings. Are they on this website?

    Maps are provided that show the location of the interchange. At this time, there is no proposed development at or adjacent to the interchange associated with this project. The purpose of this project is to look at the long-term growth of the corridor and define how the community would like the built form to look.
